New members welcomed

Knaresborough Rotary has welcomed three new members, Sue Cottingham, Eleanor Pollard and Greg Stewart.

Knaresborough Rotary has welcomed three new members, Sue Cottingham, Eleanor Pollard and Greg Stewart. Sue Cottingham has recently retired as a Chartered Accountant and Financial Director. Eleanor Pollard was a special needs teacher and recently a carer and bereavement counsellor at Martin House Children’s Hospice, her father was President of Knaresborough Rotary in 1977-78. Having recently moved to Knaresborough, Greg Stewart worked for the Scout association for 29 years, is Chair of the North Yorkshire Scout membership Growth Team and has been a Magistrate for 27 years.

Just to prove that Rotary is not an all-male organisation, it was all change at Knaresborough Rotary on 1st July as James Moorhouse handed over the Presidency to Helen Westmancoat. Helen will be succeeded as President in 2025 by Deborah Wilson.
