Freeze Your Bits and Bobs Off

The final numbers are in

The start of the 2026 walk


Treasurer Lesley Trivett has announced that Gift Aid on donations made in respect of our Freeze Your Bits and Bobs Off walk through Bradgate Park on a freezing Sunday morning in January, we can pass on a total of £14,500.


So cancer charities Breast Cancer Now and Prostaid will each be sent £7,250.
This annual walk, first proposed by Lesley, has now raised about £40,000 since 2024.

The 2026 walk was started by MP Peter Bedford The walk got some helpful publicity on ITV and on BBC Leicester BBC Leicester

President Nicki Little said afterwards that she was delighted by the result and very grateful to everyone who walked, sponsored the walkers and helped us in the background in all sorts of ways.
