Bradgate Rotary Club would like to say a big thank you to everyone who purchased a Bradgate Park calendar for 2021. Your support helped us to raise £5000 for the park. We are planning to work in conjunction with the park so that, hopefully, part of the money we raised will go towards buying either a carved peace pole or a bench. This will serve as a reminder of the extraordinary time we all went through during 2020. The park was a most important place for many people during such a difficult year and we would like to commemorate this. Our proposals will be presented to the Bradgate Park Trust for them consider.
The remaining money that we raised, approximately £2000, has been shared amongst between our other charities, including LOROS and Leicester Children’s Holidays.
We are very grateful to all concerned, including our sponsors and the volunteers and staff who sold the calendars for us.
The 2022 Bradgate Park Calendar is now on sale and you can purchase one through the park's website or through Bradgate Rotary Club at any of our events. Alternatively please contact us.
The Club hope you will agree that the images in the new calendar are again stunning. We achieved this through a photography competition which raised the profile of the park to the general public. There were over 500 amazing entries for the competition, making it a tough job for the judges to select the twelve photographs for the calendar.
The 2021 calendar sold out with phenomenal success last year, which demonstrated fantastic support for the project. So please get in quick and purchase your 2022 calendar early.
