The third annual duck race in Knighton Park, Leicester, will be held on Sunday, September 6.
Ten per cent of profits will support the Friends of Knighton Park, whose voluntary work does so much to make the park a wonderful space... escpecially for dog walkers!
The rest of the money will support the Motor Neurone Disease Association's Leicestershire branch.

With less than a week to go, Rotarians from across Leicestershire are all set to go for their third annual duck race in Knighton Park, Leicester.
It will run alongside the Friend of Knighton Park’s annual show, held on the first Sunday in September. The show is free to enter (via the temporary car park off Brighton Avenue, behind the Holiday Inn, Wigston) and will run from 11:00 to 17:00.
Ten per cent of the profit from this year’s duck race will support the Friends of Knighton Park. The rest will go to the Leicestershire branch of the Motor Neurone Disease which supports about 95 people living with the life-limiting neurological disease.
The race organisers chose that charity several months ago because the president of Leicester De Montfort Rotary Club has had three friends who had the disease. Since then Jim Matthews, from Bradgate Rotary, lost his sister to the disease just 19 weeks and two days after her diagnosis.
