Clearance of the old house
Clearance day!
On Friday 11th May 2012 members of Medway Sunlight Rotary provided a skip and helped Rob and Lisa empty the loft and cellar of their old home in Chatham. We think even they were amazed at just how much was in the two areas!
Supervised by Rotarian Julie and with the able help of Grace, David, Bill and a guest Jim (who wasn't quite sure why he was there as he had only accepted a lift from Grace ! - thanks Jim!) a chain was soon established to move the stuff out of the house and into the waiting skip. We even had the help of passing totters who ensured that we still had room in the skip by taking what they wanted!
Welcome refreshments were provided by Lisa and Rob and the job was soon done to complete another hurdle for this family who are truly amazing in what they have acheived so far and also have planned to complete the challenging journey to improve Cam's life.
