The dinner was a great success with over 150 supporters of Carli Lansley Foundation enjoying an excellent meal and joining in a raffle. At the end of the evening Karl Lansley thanked everone for their support and confirmed that much needed funds had been raised which would help the charity continue their good work well into 2025.
Carli Lansley died on 1st June 2017 from Sudden Arrythmic Death Syndrome (SADS) at the age of just 36. To see that other families can avoid the same tragic loss Carli's Husband Karl and the family aim to raise money through the Foundation to cover the cost of providing free ECG screenings for young people (aged 18 to 35) in the Southend area. On a screening session up to 100 young people can receive a free ECG.
