The Rotary Leadership & Management Program 2024/25
ROTARY LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME (LAMP) NEWS
The programme involves students planning & running an event of their choice, each team member takes on a role within the team to ensure the project is completed on time and achieves their original aims & objectives. During the seven weeks of the programme, Rotary members deliver information within the School/ College environment for two hours per week on all aspects of project management. The students then present the project results as well as a one-to-one interview with the assessors, successful students receive a Rotary certificate of completion and if reaching the required standard a further level 2 qualification Certificate from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) This year we had 52 students who volunteered to complete the course.

On 16th October teams from Hadleigh Castle Rotary and USP Rotaract joined together to compete in the regular Pie & Mash Quiz Night at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend. A great night with one of our 2 teams finishing in 4th place!

members of Hadleigh Castle Rotary supported the charity dinner arranged by Southend City Rotary at the Pearl Dragon in Southend in aid of the End Polio Appeal. With a full house of diners and a great raffle over £1,500 was raised on the night

On 22nd April Hadleigh Castle Rotary teamed up with Southend City Rotary to hold a tea party at Holiday Inn Southend Airport for over 80 refugees from Ukraine
