The end of one Rotary yearand start of another was marked by a special charity dinner held 28th June at Zen City restaurant in Westcliff. A large group of members family friends and supporters joined together for an evening of celebration fun and great food.
The main event of the evening was the presentation of his badge of office as President to Terry Box by the outgoing President Sharon Box and Senior Vice President Jed Brooks. Terry also presented Sharon with her badge as Immediate Past President.
As well as a great social event this was also a charity dinner in aid of Young Carers. Through a combination of tickets sales and generous support for a raffle held on the evening over £700 was raised. This weill be used to allow the Young Carers to continue with their programme of both enjoyable and valuable martial arts classes.
Thank you to everyone who made this evening such a success.
