Litter Pick for End Plastic Soup Action Day

We will all meet in front of the Victoria Hall at 7.00pm, then split up into small groups to walk one of 4 loops of varying distances between 2 and 3 miles around the town.


On Thursday 3rd June, we are planning on making the most of our Social evening by doing some litter picking while we spend an evening together walking around our town.  All Rotarians and volunteers are welcome.  

We will all meet in front of the Victoria Hall at 7.00pm, then split up into small groups to walk one of 4 loops of varying distances between 2 and 3 miles around the town.  

This is inspired by the End Plastic Soup Action Day (https://endplasticsoup.nl/en/ ) that was initiated by the Rotary Clubs of Amsterdam and coincides with World Environment Day on 5th June.  We hope it will support the Rotary Foundation’s new area of focus on the Environment as well as helping to bring a little improvement to our lives in Crewkerne.  

Rotary will provide litter pickers, bags and gloves — please bring your own Hi-Vis jacket.
