A fun evening at Wayford Woods, Nr Crewkerne, weeding and wine tasting!!
Himalayan Balsam is a non-native invasive species which needs to be kept under control. This is the third year that Crewkerne District have spent an evening helping to clear the woods of balsam, a massive in road has been made. Come an pull up some balsam for an hour followed by cheese and wine.
Meet at the car park at 7pm (Leave Crewkerne on the Lyme Regis road. Drive through Clapton turn right at the Wayford sign. At crossroads turn left into Wayford. Drive through Wayford past the church the road turns into a track keep going and you will see the car park on the right)
