Croquet - 5 July 2012

The croquet has been arranged for July 5th. Thanks to the National Trust we are allowed to play on 

the lawns at Montacute House. The organisers have asked that we play from 6pm to 8pm. So we would need to 

meet in the Borough (centre of Montacute) at about 5.50pm

There is no specific dress code but shoes would have to be flat .

The croquet club will organise a buffet for us after in the local pub for a modest fee.

There is no cost for the croquet but i would suggest we make a donation to the club funds.

You are welcome to bring partners.

Our thanks goes to Montacute Croquet Club for hosting a fantastic evening. Also thanks to Dowlish Wake Croquet Club for the loan of your equipment.

Montacute House was a fantastic setting & despite the dark clouds in the distance the sun shined thoughout. Frank & Steve came out victors in a closely fought final against Sarah & Caroline winning 4-3. The evening was finished off in the Phelips Arms where our hosts organised food in the beer garden.
