Rotary took a commitment over 30 years ago to provide financial support to aid the eradication of polio throughout the world. This it has now very nearly achieved.
Rotary has clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas of the world. Rotary is open to everyone regardless of race, religion or gender.
In the United Kingdom, there are more than 1,000 clubs with more than 100,000 members.
Rotary in Wendover has a established a library in South Africa, near Soweto, collected 15,000 bras which were upcycled into Africa and supported local and national charities such as Lindengate, PACE, WheelPower and Save the Children.
Wendover and District Rotary provides a forum for metting and engaging with people locally, nationally and all over the World.
