There are six teams sharing the walk with each team (Cohort lead by a Centurion Commander) only walking one of the six days, spreading the commitment. Those taking part in the virtual challenge are encouraged to donate to Lynne’s worthy cause via the Just Giving site.
To bring this to life there is a Roman theme. Lynne will be known as ‘Primus Pilus’- The Commanding Centurion who leads by example and walking the whole eighty-three miles (75.5 Roman miles).
Elizabeth Hunt is the ‘Scriba’ - Public Notary or Scribe and collects and records the steps and miles walked by the Cohorts.
Claire James is the ‘Quaestor’ for the challenge (lead for the Just Giving website).
Bryan West is the ‘Imprimare‘(print / impression - pictures of our challenge) so coordinates updates to our website.
