Cheque Presentation to Worcester Relate

A message from Karen McVeigh of Relate Worcetershire in response to our donation to support their work.

Thank you for choosing to help Relate Worcestershire. You may have seen some promotion already of the club’s fundraiser but I wanted to say a personal thank you for your part in raising money for Relate Worcestershire either by your kind donation or through your walking. A total of £1,100 was raised through this event for our charity.

If you haven’t heard already we are currently refurbishing our Worcester offices. The interior was looking drab, tired and depressing as it is over a decade since it was last done. As we are not working face-to-face at the moment and all our counselling is being done virtually, it seemed an ideal time to do it. The funds raised by the club has given us the final funds we needed to complete the project. So soon, with a lick of paint and new flooring, it will be a much more inviting and uplifting space for our clients to have their counselling.

Thank you so much again. It was such a boost to receive this support at just such a difficult time for everyone at the charity.
