Claire James works as a Fundraiser at St Richards Hospice in Worcester and joined the Rotary Club in August, on the club's 10th Birthday. Claire is currently the youngest (and newest) Rotarian within the Worcester Vigornia Rotary Club and is a breathe of fresh air, bringing new and innovative ideas on how the club can improve and develop.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
So far I’d say the First World War Battlefields is my favourite destination – even if I did get left behind at the Thiepval!
If stranded on a desert island what would be your luxury?
A pen and notepad
Who do you most admire?
Martin Luther King - I love his "I have a Dream speech" and, yes, I absolutely would have been a suffragette if I was around at the time!
How do you relax and unwind?
Some good music and a G&T
What is your greatest achievement?
My year as President of Ticked Pink society at Uni, becoming President - raising £5000 in the process winning Personality of the Year and Most Active Society of the Year!
What really annoys you?
Untidy people and lateness
