Nidderdale Charity Walk & Run

Sun, May 17th 2026 at 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

Walk or run your chosen distance and raise funds to support your favourite charity.

The Rotary Club of Harrogate Nidderdale Charity Walk

Our 32nd Charity Walk and Run will take place on Sunday 17th May 2026, starting from the Scout Hall in Pateley Bridge.  Look at our website www.nidderdalewalk.com

There are six walks of approximately four, eight, fifteen, eighteen, twenty two and twenty six miles. The main route is the marathon but walkers and runners can enter whichever distance they wish. All routes start at Pateley Bridge and head up Nidderdale towards and beyond Lofthouse. Full details of the routes and Ts&Cs can be found on the website

The whole purpose of our Walks is to raise money for charities and, as in previous years, all sponsorship monies raised by walkers are for the benefit of their own nominated charities. To date, walkers have raised over £1,000,000 - an amazing achievement.  In 2025, the event was supported by thirty local charities and those that provided at least ten adult entrants recieved a donation from the Rotary Club of 50% of their entry fees.

We thank all our participants for their support and, of course, would welcome further entrants for this excellent and the well established event on Sunday 17th May 2026 - see the website  www.nidderdalewalk.com !
