The Ordinary Meeting followed:
Shoe boxes: Kathy asked if all can be brought in no later than November 6th.
Cluster meeting: To be held on November 6th – can anyone attend in Kathy’s absence?
Rotary Club of Forest of Blean: Organizing a musical evening – Kathy to circulate the information.
Toy/Uniform collection: This Saturday October 25th – 9.30am onwards
Christmas tree in All Saints: David is making memory cards (email circulated) – details to him in CAPITALS please!
World Polio Day October 24th: The Playhouse will be lit up in purple the whole weekend
Crocus pins and collection buckets will be at the Monument
Rev Simon has published about it in the All Saints newsletter
Fundraising: Quiz night on November 15th – 3 tickets available – contact Godfrey
RAFFLE PRIZES NEEDED.
Speaker: Rev Simon to be invited to a breakfast meeting and will give a short talk
Treasurer: David has identified some funds and suggested donations be made to End Polio Dome Walk (£1000) and Emma’s Sponsored Walk (OYHTB) £300
Proposed by Andrew and agreed by all.
Friends of Whit & Tank Hospital: Elaine reported she and Maureen had attended. Club were recognised for the gardening. Maureen received special recognition for her work there.
Interesting talk given by a dermatologist
Evening meeting: November 27th. David K’s daughter speaking
Raffle: won by Kathy
Master at Arms: short and sweet but to the point.
Next meeting: Thursday October 30th 7.30 am – Andrew in the Chair in Kathy’s absence.
