Christmas Collections

This is our annual collection of food, clothing and donations to go to Canterbury Food Bank and Catching Lives and despite the storm weather our members completed to collections on 8th December 2024 so as not to let Santa down who had come a long way, and of course the children in Chestfield.

Firstly a big thank you to Canterbury Sunrise RC who kindly loaned us their float for Santa when the original one became unavailable.

We also teamed up with McDonalds in Chestfield, Sturry and Canterbury who had collection buckets inside for customers to donate in.

We have already distributed the food to Canterbury Foodbank and the Clothing to Catching Lives, plus made a cash donation to both of the moneys collected.

A big thank you to everyone in Chestfield who supported us and these two very deserving Charities.
