Social:
Pat reported back on a very enjoyable visit by members to the Wildwood Animal Reserve. It was a full moon, and most animals were visible – the bears were in Torpor (semi hibernation) – but otherwise a variety of animals and birds were seen.
Safari Supper – details now in folder – 18thFebruary 2023. Volunteers needed to host 4-6 guests for starters and mains – others will provide nibbles, drinks, desserts.
Swing band at St Nicholas - details in folder to gauge level of interest.
Evening meeting – November 10th, 2022

Fundrasing:
Car parking on Sunday 23rd 2022
Quiz night November 12th – 40 tickets sold so far.
Community:
Gardening at W&T Hospital this coming Saturday (15th) – 9am. Andrew has plants.
International:
A bore hole we funded is now up and running (!) at Matioli Primary School in Kenya
David K to make contact with Izmail University about arranging a Zoom meeting.
Shoe boxes are due into Club by 27th October
Youth:
Young Chef competition is on November 26th. Robert Mc is one of the judges.
AOB:
· Request had come in from Red Zebra for bedding – Pat had been able to help.
· David suggested to ask them if some of our Christmas donations would be of help to them – Pat to follow up.
· Red Zebra are coming to quiz night.
· David M advised that he is not receiving gmail emails. Pete added that his work was also having problems with gmail.
· If you need to contact David use text/phone.
· December 8th Xmas meal at Crescent Turner – still waiting for cost.

Today is: National no bra day and World Egg Day. It is also Dyslexia Awareness month. Everyone was fined accordingly!
