EVENING MEAL
Speakers: Pauline & Derek Tremain spoke about their careers in forensic investigation. Their work has included pioneering a technique known as ‘body mapping’ and they have been involved in a number of famous incidents. The latter have included the sinking of the Marchioness, and the Clapham Rail Disaster. They were featured in a Horizon programme about the killing of a nurse in Abu Dhabi.
Hilary proposed the vote of thanks.
Business Items: Lesley said congratulations to David B for their 60th wedding anniversary, and also thanks for David having bought us all a drink.
Greetings from Other Clubs: There were greetings from guests from Whitstable and Canterbury Sunrise.
Raffle: Was won by David M and Chris.
Master-at-Arms: Today is World Bartender Day and also Fat Thursday (Mardi Gras). Lesley said Happy Birthday to Nick for Sunday coming.
