We finally managed to get rid of him!!
But seriously it was a sad and happy event when we went to RC of Hythe to see one of our members, John Graham, inducted into their Club as a transfer having relocated to Hythe earlier in the year.
John has been a great supporter of our Club, and Rotary, since joining in 2009 and was our first “internet member” having found and contacted our Club through our website.
He went on to be Secretary from 2010-2012 and masterminded our Christmas Food and Clothing Collections in Chestfield.
We are sure he will be a great asset to RC of Hythe and we hope John, and his wife Liz, continue to enjoy Rotary and its Fellowship into the future.
It was also nice to meet some of his new friends at Hythe and we are sure they are going to get on great together.
There is always an open invitation to John and his fellow Hythe members to pop up and see us for a decent breakfast one Thursday!
If you would like to find out more about Rotary why not get in touch and come along to a meeting, you will be pleasantly surprised how far we are removed from the common “image” you may have of Rotary!
