This years event was again being organised with the support of East Kent Strokes who provide support for victims of strokes, and their families, throughout Kent.
Ideal for those who make use of our Charity Car Parking at Whitstable Junior School in Whitstable on same day!
National High Blood Pressure Awareness Day 2014.
The date for 2014 was Saturday 12th April 2014, and we were part of Rotary Clubs up and down the Country that support this and signed up to hold a day in April.
Checks were available Fee of Charge from 9am to 4pm on the day.
2014 marked the 11th year of the Rotary partnership with The Stroke Association. High blood pressure now accounts for nearly 50% of all strokes, and yet is easily treatable.
This is one way we can raise awareness of this and continue to help with the prevention of strokes by targeting some of the 16-million people in the UK with high blood pressure.
