Peter and I very much enjoyed two visits to clubs in New Zealand while on holiday there. Peter presented the banner in Lake Taupo-due to my having heat stroke or whatever! I did the honours in Queenstown. In Lake Taupo they met in a lovely lake shore yacht club and it was a newish club with a membership similar to ours. In Queenstown the venue was the casino. It was a long established club, 1945 I think, with a membership of about 90 plus. Quite a contrast but both were very welcoming. The statue in the Botanic Gardens, Singapore caught my eye-it might have been interesting to visit Rotary there.
