Seventeen members - including guest DG Jim Currie - attended this morning's Handover Breakfast Meeting. All bar one of the non-attendees were away on holiday.

Outgoing President Bob gave a resume of his year, recalling some of the popular speakers, high spots in the social calendar, hands on projects and fundraising events. He was proud to announce that during his year we raised over £11,000 for charity. He then presented bottles to members of Council in appreciation of their services.

In the final act as President Bob presented the chain of office to incoming President Nick, who duly gave Bob his Past President's jewel & pin badge. Nick then reminded members of his hopes and aspirations for the year ahead, mentioning especially the Spring Centre and Caring for Communities and People as two of his favoured charities. Later on he was prompted to induct Andrew James as Vice President which he willingly did, passing on the VP's collar.
