After an excellent meal, we firstly welcomed Gabriel Sexton as the latest new Member of RWBTRC. Gabriel is an Ex-RAF officer who has found a 'second calling' in RWB - especially with the work of SSAFA and the RC Church in the Town. We look forward to Gabriel's contribution to the work of the Club.
Then came a superb presentation by Cliff Evans - and his wife Jane - of the work that they have done in Kenya over the past 14 years and how the Kileva Foundation now provides education for 8 class years, medical care and farming advice/aid to the local community. A partlicurlay interesting aspect of their work was the use of bees to ward of roaming elephants (who apparently hate getting the bees up their trunks).
A number of photographs were taken to record the evening and one or two might easily be the subject for a future "Caption Competition"
