The formal Presidential handover from John Walduck to Marie Bernhardt was held at the Marsh Farm Hotel
Fifty Rotarians, partners, friends and guests celebrated the Presidential Handover at a formal dinner at Marsh Farm Hotel. Following an excellent meal, outgoing President John announced the award of a Paul Harris Fellowship to Colin Sweet for his exceptional service to Rotary through managing the annual Club Calendar and braving the winter weather as Father Christmas on every sleigh outing for the past 4 years.
John continued by recognising the unique nature of inaugurating 3 ladies as President and Vice-Presidents, by presenting them each with a large bouquet of seasonal flowers. The Club will now be subject to "Petticoat Rule" for the next 3 years!
