Friday the 16th of March saw our annual fundraising quiz in support of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA). The eleven teams ranged from the hardy regular quiz-goers (old) , to friends and family of Rotary (no so old) with great representation from the Royal Wootton Bassett Academy (young) which entered two teams. A very competitive evening was enjoyed by all, and knowledge was fully tested with ten rounds of varied and challenging questions and additional bonus rounds during the break. The quiz was prepared by our resident Mensa representatives, Ceri and Ian - and President Steve struggled manfully against a barrage of banter and humour to read the questions and answers.
We are particularly grateful to our very own Barbara and Phillipa for providing a choice of fantastic hot meals at the half way point and the generosity of The Ganges for donating and cooking the rice.
The end of the evening saw the trophy awarded to past champions
