General knowledge quiz

Our general knowledge quiz on November 1, 2025 was another sell-out.


Fourteen teams joined us at Black Notley Village Hall and battled it out over ten rounds.

It was an extremely close contest and at the end there were only three points separating the top four teams and at one point our quizmaster Steve had to organise a tie-break question just in case!  The eventual winners were We Only Came The Snacks.  Well done to them!

We'd like to thank everyone who attended and supported this event - you helped us raise £450 for End Polio Now.

On Sunday September 1st we enjoyed the sunny weather while helping out at Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens Annual Classic Car Show which raises much needed funds for the upkeep of the gardens.
