A group of us took a trip to Button House aka West Horsley Place, the location of the BBC comedy Ghosts.
The house has some very interesting history and is in fact only one wing of what was a much lager house and goes back to Henry VIII time. There are quite a number of rooms to look round both downstairs and up. I also has some large grounds to look round as well.
It was interesting to see what is real and what has been added by the BBC, such as the gates, (there aren't any). We did find a large bear on the stairs, but no boiler room on top of a plague pit.
But a fantastic day out and would highly recommend it if you get the chance to go. Just watch for those ghosts.
