A small group of us took advantage of the nice weather at the end of July to pop along to Linslade Canal Festival.
We found the car park manned by local Rotarians and enjoyed a stroll around the numerous craft stalls plying their wares. Helen R made a start on her Christmas shopping and new earrings were also purchased.
A walk alongside the canal to see the boats, again selling various craft / home items, involved a little more nettle dodging than we would like, but we came through unscathed.
Visits to a few more stalls and we rounded off the morning in the food village, enjoying a range of meals and Phil tried an alcoholic slush puppy. It was a new one for us all and probably not to be repeated!
