A few of us joined a Parks Trust guided walk around Great Linford Manor Park.
A lot of work has been done recently to restore previous features of the park, which was especially interesting to Helen R who used to walk through most days on route to and from pre-school.
Our guide was also very knowledgeable about the people who have lived in and around Great Linford over the years and the plans for the old Alms Houses sound very interesting.
We rounded off the afternoon with a trip to pub, a very civilised ending to the trip.
