Update – July 2024
It has been a very busy first half of the year, with many social and community events and even a wedding. We continue to collect candles for Ukraine and old spectacles for those less fortunate in countries around the world. Our lend with care has also been going from strength to strength.
We are looking to find a new venue where we can meet when we either have Rotary officials meeting us, or we have potential new members wishing to join us.
As a Rotary club whose focus is to provide support to charities and the local community we are continually looking for new ways to help. However, Rotary is also about friendship with our fellow members and their families and supporting them and their friends.
We still meet on the first Sunday of the month in person, for the business side of things, but there isn't a week/weekend go by where we aren't doing something either social or charity based.
July is always the beginning of the new Rotary year, and so we now have a new president and are looking forward to new and exciting things.

Alongside our Santa float and money we raise through our fun casinos and race nights, we hold stand alone fundraisers for various charities.

We have a very active social life as a club, with a great mixture of events, some being just for grown ups and others where our younger family members are welcome.
