We enjoyed supporting The Mighty Quiz.
Alzheimer's Research UK set a quiz asking groups to host this and raise money to help beat dementia.
We were delighted to take on the challenge, so we're hired a cosy venue in Emerson Valley, which was packed out by a diverse group of member's family and friends, on a lovely summer's evening.
Colin acted as question master (he carried on boldly, despite our sound system developing a nasty twitch) and Helen & Neil manned the bar, whilst the rest of us balanced raffle ticket selling with taxing our brain cells to take part.
We had a great evening and we think everyone enjoyed themselves. The marshmallow/spaghetti tower building was certainly very amusing!
We raised an impressive £315 for this really great cause.
