The club donated more than £2000 (proceeds from a Tree of Light project) to Calderdale Smart Move, an independent organisation supporting homeless and vulnerably housed individuals and families.
Their clients often have complex issues such as mental and physical health problems, learning difficulties, domestic abuse, autism etc and some have simply endured a period of "bad luck".
The charity has a proven track record of sourcing safe and secure accommodation both within social housing and the private sector.
Clients are supported, on average, for a twelve month period and the goal is collectively, by working with partners, to get them through their difficult times and assist local vulnerable people to return to independence.
