Fish and chip evening
In August instead of our usual Tuesday meeting format we treated ourselves to a tasty fish and chip supper overlooking the beautiful Stamford Meadows.
After our supper we commenced a history themed walking tour quiz around our lovely town of Stamford, discovering hidden heritage and working on cryptic clues. The evening concluded at the historic Eleanor Cross in the Sheepmarket, a perfect finale to our historic adventure.
It's evenings like these that remind us why we love our club motto, 'Fun with a Purpose,' combining fellowship, local appreciation and a bit of friendly competition all in one!
Stamford truly is a beautiful place to call home.
