Raising awareness for Shelterbox
Shelterbox provides emergency shelter and essential supplies for families who have lost their homes due to disasters.
In August we had a stall at the Stamford Friday market to promote awareness of the charity Shelterbox and were extremely pleased to raise £486.
This was a fantastic joint project between the Rotary Club of Stamford St Martin's and the Rotary Club of Stamford and we couldn't have been more grateful for our community's generosity.
Shelterbox kits include:
- Emergency tents for temporary shelter
- Clean water purification kits
- Tools and materials to help rebuild homes
Every pound raised goes directly to helping families in crisis get back on their feet when they need it most.
We were also interviewed on local radio to spread the word about this vital cause and send a huge thank you to everyone who stopped, donated and supported this importation work. Together we're making a real difference.
