Allen Barfields Team Sky Dive for Wave Trust

A team of solicitors at Allen Barfields led by Chris Thomas have taken up the challenge of a parachute jump for the Wave Trust  National Wings Day.

Our club has been associated with the WAVE Trust which is based just around the comer from our meeting place at the Fairfield Halls for several years and two of our members volunteer there.  We helped introduce them to Rotary in the UK and do what we can to support them on social media locally.

Their strategic approach to the elimination of violence in society - starting  with very young children appeals very strongly to our members, so it was natural that Christopher should step up to the plate with his colleagues and take on the National Wings Day challenge.

It was equally natural that the club should decide to provide substantial sponsorship but WAVE do need more support to help maintain their political independence and lobby successfully for the necessary changes that they have identified.
