Classic car & Family fun day. Sunday 16th June was a Fathers Day, a treat for dads to view classic cars, a fun day for all the family with Bouncy castle, games etc... Visitors enjoyed a stunning collection of classic cars during a spectacular parade.

Christmas collections 2013

Christmas collections success. This year the Whitgift Rotary Club collected over £3000 in various locations in Croydon. Many thanks to all who took part.

Pudsey visits an injured pupil at King College Hospital

'President Trevor arranged for Pudsey to visit in Kings College Hospital London one young pupil Tyrell of St Mary's school who had been seriously injured in a life threatening road traffic accident. The pupil is now recovering satisfactorily.

13th Annual Charity Quiz Night

The Club's most popular Quiz night at St. Mary's Junior School, Croydon, was well attended and raised a record £2000 and raffled over £1000 worth of prizes. Monies raised will support the Club President's charities and St. Mary's School.

Special Care Baby Unit at Mayday receives Rotary donation

From Jane Hurlock: The proceeds from our Charity lunch held to raise funds for the Special Baby Care Unit at Croydon University hospital have now been handed over. Thanks to your support we were able to present Sister Ooi (right) with a cheque for £1450.

South Croydon Lights switch on!

The Club took part in the South Croydon Lights Switch On. Our collectors and the President Trevor as Father Christmas raised substantial funds for the Club's charities. A founding member of the Club, the Deputy Mayor David Fitz, joined the occasion.

Remembrance Sunday - attended by Trevor Morgan

The Club was represented at the 2011 Remembrance Service in the Fairfield Hall by some Club members and President Trevor - laying a wreath at the Town's cenotaph and attending the Mayor's Remembrance luncheon in the Town Hall.

Pudsey Bear awards Dictionaries to children of St Mary’s school

The children of St Mary’s R.C. Junior School were delighted to welcome Pudsey Bear to their school on Friday 4th November. He gave out dictionaries, donated by the Rotary Club, to 45 children for being outstanding in the first term of this academic year.
