Misbourne Matins still managed to raise £4,323 from their Christmas Collections in the run up to Christmas despite only to run nine of their usual nineteen outings because of Covid restrictions.
The bulk of the collection goes to Rennie Hospice, Scannappeal and Thames Valley Air Ambulance, with a small balance going to the club's charity account to fund other deserving causes over the next few months. Club members do not deduct expenses from these collections, so we distribute what we collected.
The club gratefully acknowledges the tremendous support it gets from the residents especially throughout Denham, Hedgerley and Chalfont St Giles. The recently restored Christmas Cottage, now eco friendly with batteries to power the lights and sounds, was photographed by hundreds of you - so if you have a good photo you would like us to put on our website please do send it to us (ceilertsdehaan3@gmail.com)
