Jazz concert

Sat, Jun 7th 2025 at 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Our concert at Dawkes in Maidenhead. Please encourage family and friends to attend!

The band - Jazz Dynamos. Ronnie Scott's club advertised them as "specialising in creating jazz re-arrangements of songs by an eclectic mix of artists such as The Police, Bowie, and Dolly Parton, to name just a few, but to call them “covers” would be to do them a woeful disservice. Far more than that, these are re-imaginings of songs, many of which better the originals and the breadth of the extensive repertoire is staggering"

The Venue - Dawkes music shop in Maidenhead are the UK's biggest retailer of woodwind and brass instruments, and Yamaha have described the shop as the best in Europe, and possibly the world. And of course they have a great live performance space in the middle of the shop and a bar where you can purchase drinks on the night

TIming - doors open at 7.30pm, and the concert will start at 8pm. There will be 2 sets with an interval in between.

Cost - £25 per ticket. There will also be a food option to purchase during the interval - details later.

Tickets are open to members, family and friends and numbers are limited to 60. Please note this is a purely social event, not a fund raiser.

I look forward to getting lots of ticket requests from you all soon. Tickets could sell out quickly, so don't delay!

Cheers
Steve
