Young Carers Family Day

As always, it was a great, fun-filled occasion and for some it is the only event they go to as a family in the whole year - truly special!

Some of the feedback:

• A lovely afternoon that we have been to for the last 3 years, it’s lovely to see my son meet with other young carers and be able to go off and have fun with them at the family day while we can entertain our other son with lots of other activities to keep him happy. A lovely day that we all really enjoy and look forward to.

• This was a lovely day out and well catered for. We are extremely grateful for this event. Thank you to everyone who made it possible.

• We all enjoyed a great day out, and the weather was brilliant too. My 2 enjoyed themselves very much, and me and their dad enjoyed being big kids too. Getting involved with the activities too. And seeing how caring and loving everyone was with kind hearts was absolutely beautiful.

• Very good session indeed.

• This was the most special day and we were taken aback by the number of volunteers and free activities for the children to do/free food and drinks etc. We expected to pay for things and were so touched by your generosity. THANK YOU!

• We had a lovely family day activities were really good and it was nice it was all free so my children could take part in everything

• It was a lovely day. All the staff (many of whom were from the Marlow Rotary) were very friendly and welcoming. Lots of different activities and the free BBQ was appreciated. Thanks to all who organised this day.

• Malikii and his friend loved every minute of the fun day. So many activities to keep them entertained. They did every stall and enjoyed learning all the different arts and crafts.

• He particularly enjoyed the outside gym equipment at the school where the fun day was held

It was wonderful to see so many young carers and their families spending quality time together- I can’t thank you enough.
