Shelterbox sails down the river

A group of Rotarians sailed a small home-made dinghy down the Thames with a Shelterbox on board to publicise the Shelterbox charity to which we and many other Rotary Clubs contribute.  On arrival at Higginson Park in Marlow the charity was presented with a cheque from Rotary for £625.

ShelterBox is a charity that delivers aid to families devastated by conflict or disaster.  A shelterbox provides a durable shelter, essential items and technical assistance to help some of the world's most vulnerable people recover and rebuild their homes after a disaster.
