Business Meeting and AGM

Committee Chairs should circulate a BRIEF review of the year prior to the meeting – by email to members. At the meeting, Julian will assume they have all been read and will only invite additional comment and perhaps occasional discussion. Get those tricky questions ready.

I am advised that nominations will have been received for Ordinary Council members. You will have to attend the meeting to find out who they are.

There will also be confirmation and election of Trustees for our club.

The trustees will appoint a charity account examiner who could, of course, be the same person as the club account examiner (who is elected by the club).

The AGM is effectively one part of a normal business meeting. An opportunity for committees to think about how next year might shape up.
