Marlow Ukraine Collective

Ali from Marlow Ukraine Collective gave a ‘straight-from-the-heart’ talk outlining the trials and tribulations of volunteering to be a host to Ukrainian refugees. She spoke soberingly about the process from personal, organisational and governmental points of view and emphasised the resilience and resourcefulness needed by both hosts and guests. She was particularly grateful for our Rotary support at the Longridge families day and said how well the backpack gifts had been received.
