In place of our regular weekly meeting a party of fifteen members and family attended a zany open air theatre production of HG Wells’ ‘War of The Worlds’ on a summer evening in the grounds of The Old Vicarage at Knowl Hill. Accompanied by picnics and refreshments, members tried to keep up with the fast-paced and pun-laced humour of the four cast members, who’s humour was worse than our outgoing President’s... A fun time was had by all. Thanks to Steve Berry for organising it.
