On 14th June the members of Boston St Botolph Rotary Club and more than 50 guests celebrated the anniversary of our club by holding our Charter Dinner at the Boston & County Club. President Maggie Peberdy presided and welcomed our pricipal guests, District Governor Chris Chew and Alistair Burt, MP. After an excellent meal Chris Chew proposed a toast to the Club and President Maggie replied. This was followed by an amusing and erudite speech by Alistair Burt MP, the Minister of State at the Foreign Office. At the end of the evening congratulations on the organisation of the evening and the excellence of the speakers were received from many sources. We look forward to the next fifteen years.
