ROTAKIDS

RotaKids is an exciting way for those 12 and under to lead and engage in important, lively activities that will make a positive difference in their school, in their local community and globally. At the same time RotaKids enjoy developing the ability and confidence to take up their place in society as responsible, successful, effective citizens both now and in the future. They have fun developing team work skills and making good friends.

As citizenship is part of the school curriculum this is an opportunity for Rotary to support and expand the work already happening in school. The decisions made always involve the RotaKids.

INTERACT

Interact clubs, sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, are clubs for 12-18 year olds. Every year, Interactors complete at least two projects in their communities, one of which is overseas, helping them build friendships and a better understanding with young people in other countries.

ROTARY CHILDREN'S FUN DAY

Rotary Clubs through the United Kindgdom come together arrange the biggest single outing for disadvanted children in the country.

In 2024 27,759 children benefitted, supported by 2,325 Rotarians at 173 venues.

Most such events are held on the second Wednesday in June but so Clubs decide to hold an event at a different time of the year that works better for children from their community.

A briefing for Clubs about opportunities this Christmas and in 2025 will be held at 7.30pm on 24 September. Please contact Andy Jarrett via youth@rotary1100.org to find out more.

I would like to say thank you to clubs for making me so welcome on my visits. I have enjoyed meeting you all.

I now look forward to 24/25 and the achievements we can do together.

Thank you
