Three activity stalls ‘Guess the weight of the Christmas cake; and two fun activity games which attracted a great deal of laughter and sweets for the winners.
At the end of the event items remaining were gathered together and donated to Cancer Research Wales Charity shop in Whitchurch village. The children’s books were given to the BREKFLEX club to distribute to children who are not fortunate enough to have their own books.
In just two hours they managed to raise £414.95 and a cheque was presented to representatives from PONT (Partnerships Overseas Networking Trust) a UK registered charity) on the 5th December 2023. A huge thankyou to the Rotakids for organising the event, the pupils, staff, parents and Rotarians for giving so generously to support this worthwhile project.
