We chose a more informal approach this year. A barbecue with no set seating, allowing everyone to mingle followed by a disco which had a number of us on the dancefloor. Prior to the main event, a few intrepid golfers tired out the Pirate crazy golf course at the Abbey Hill centre.
President Susan reminded us that we had raised around £4,000 for her charity, the Pituitary Foundation as well as over £2,000 for Rotary's polioeradication fund. She thanked all those involved in all the great events we had run. The club in turn thaned her for her leadership with a few small gifts. That all took a few minutes and then the party started !
