Seven-mile sponsored walk along the beach north of Aberdeen. Organised by Balgownie and Ellon Rotarians. As of 30 September the proceeds stood at 6350 pounds.
Aberdeen Balgownie Rotarians, in partnership with the members of the Ellon Rotary Club, organise a sponsored walk along the beach in aid of three charities:
ALEC, Aberdeenshire Life Education Centre,

The Gavel Challenge pits Rotary clubs within District 1010 against each other in a series of fun evenings involving pub games or other selected competitions.
